Pixton comic!

Today we worked on the digital choice board and I chose to do Pixton and I made a comic about “A day in Totara 2.” My comic strip was 16 pages long.

My favourite part of making a comic on Pixton was making the funny moments that happens in T2 (Totara 2)!

My least favourite was having to  change every character I used into a school uniform.

So I really liked this activity and using Pixton was exciting.

My day at home.

Yesterday (the 20th of February)  I didn’t go to school. I started off my day with watching youtube on my Chromebook and then my mum woke up and I had noodles for breakfast. After breakfast we decided I wasn’t going to school. After that I watched more YouTube for 30 minutes. After that I played Fortnite, got some wins, watched more YouTube and it was time to pick Lucian and Reid up for touch. I was just planning to watch then. But then I decided to play touch and got a try even with a sore foot!

Today we did summer learning challenge and one of the activities was a poster and I am blogging about it right now!

 

I enjoyed finding out what was the most dangerous fish in the Pacific ocean and it is called the stonefish and I found finding a good picture hard and next time I will pick a different picture.

Number of the week

 

 

Today I did number of the week because we have some tasks we have to complete and this was my last task!

 

I enjoyed the place value in money and I found the  scribble tool for the numeral hard because it doesn’t look neat at all next time I will try to write the numeral neater.

National Geographic poster

This week I have been finding some facts about pandas and have made a poster about them!

 

Giant pandas (often referred to as simply “pandas”) are black and white bears as you can see in the background.

In the wild, they are found in thick bamboos forests, high up in the mountains of central China,

giant pandas grow to between 1.2m and 1.5m and weigh between 75 kg and 135 kg, scientists aren’t sure how long pandas live in the wild, but in captivity they live to be around 30 years old,

pandas are omnivores if you didn’t know,

the scientific name for pandas are Ailuropoda melanoleuca which means black and white cat foot,

And last but not least Baby pandas are born pink! 

 

I enjoyed finding the facts about the pandas, I found it difficult writing all the facts down and next time I will find different facts about pandas.

My beach writing✍

Today I wrote about my beach experience in September!

 

I enjoyed about the writing was the memories, next time I will try to finish quicker and I found difficult was getting it right the first try.

My Cool Mr. Bean Post

This week for reading I did my Mr. Bean slide.

I enjoyed the questions on the 2nd slide. I found finding good facts about him hard. Next time I will do it faster. I learnt how he crashed a McLaren F1 a car valued at more than $1,000,00o!
